MCR1180 - New Registrations Default Supplier
In the interest of a level playing field, CER have proposed making a change to the current process that
MPRNs with an MIC under 30kva default to a single supplier if a valid registration request is not received within
five days of the date of energisation.
In summary, it is recommended that New Registrations would follow a similar approach to that which exists
for over 30kVA new connections i.e. an additional criterion for energisation would be added to ensure that a valid
new registration request is received by MRSO.
