DR1202 – Micro Generation Sites Process

The proposed process would require suppliers to collect and submit actual meter reads to NIE Networks on an annual basis to enable actual generation to be profiled and netted through the existing market processes. Suppliers would submit these to NIE Networks on the same timetable of existing submissions.

This proposal looks to reinstate the CDA decision which was over turned. Power NI understands that the previous decision was challenged on the basis of regulatory process and not the fundamentals of the decision itself. Power NI remains surprised by the challenge in relation to consultation.
