Currently a Suppler only has to submit installed capacity figures to NIE Networks.
With multiple suppliers offering to buy micro generation there is a risk that, without the knowledge of the supplier,
a customer could register with multiple suppliers and get paid for the same output more than once.

The recommendation is to require all suppliers offering micro generation tariffs to submit MPRNs and meter reads to NIE Networks
before aggregation takes place. NIE Networks would then be required to ensure there was no duplication of MPRN submission and
perform basic validation on the reads received.
