The unmetered market has grown significantly since Market Opening in 2005. At the outset of market opening, ESB Electric Ireland (Formerly ESB Customer Supply) was the only Market Participant with unmetered sites registered to them. Increasingly, other MPs have entered the unmetered market necessitating more regular use and review of the unmetered process documentation. It became evident that the process documentation needed improvement and realignment with the actual operational execution of the processes.
It has been identified by various stakeholders within the unmetered arena, that the unmetered processes need technical and system improvements. An RMDS process review
