DR 1060 – Removal of Fieldwork Notice Periods

The current NI Retail Market Procedures state that an agreed notice period must be given by Suppliers when booking/requesting fieldwork
appointments to allow for planning and scheduling of the work. This Discussion Request proposes to remove the notice periods currently required
when Suppliers are booking/requesting fieldwork appointments in relation to New Connections Registration (010), Change of Supplier Registration
(010) with related fieldwork or Fieldwork requests (017, 030, 252) as NIE no longer require notice periods for fieldwork requests.
However, for Change of Supplier requests a Supplier will be prevented from booking an appointment on the Market Website for fieldwork related to
a Change of Supplier for a date less than two business days in the future. This two day period is to allow for the processing of objection/debt
contact notification market messages.
