Market Participants requested the provision of a web service whereby a supplier could send out a procedural call to the ESB Networks MP Extranet website using an MPRN and pull back all of the data fields on the existing MPRN data screen on the MP Extranet website.
A similar web service has already been developed for the contracting regulatory bodies (RECI) and is used as part of the process of advising receipt of a Completion Cert to ESB Networks. It appears that this web service cannot be re-used as it is not suitable for high volume usage and domestic customer names may also be displayed.
