There are a small number of sites where a duplicate MPRN has been set up and registered to a supplier and this has occurred because, as part of an increased connection process at the site or the wrong Service Product was applied in Networks ISU and a second MPRN was created for the site that was subsequently energised. There is a requirement to de-register and terminate these duplicate MPRNs as and when they are identified by Market Participants and this Working Practice was developed to establish a common procedure between ESB Networks and Suppliers to de-register these sites.
