In order to introduce the Single Electricity Market there are a number of changes required to the existing Retail Market processes. This MCR relates to the Market Process surrounding Supplier of Last Resort.

The reason for the change is that where a Change of Supplier occurs on a Trading Site MRSO is required to inform the SMO of it’s occurrence. As such, a reversion to Supplier of Last Resort for a Trading Site carries the same requirement.
